WEINBACH Gewurztraminer Reserve
ORIGIN：
Appellation: Alsace AOC
Grape Varieties: 100 % Gewurztraminer.
Soil: sand soil on granite pebbles.
WINE-MAKING：
Biological viticulture aims to bring balance and forces of life to the soil and the vines. Short pruning of the vines to keep yields low, hand picking at optimum maturity. Gentle pressing of the grapes in whole clusters in pneumatic presses, fermentation with indigenous yeasts (element of the terroir, enhances depth and complexity in the wines) in ancient oak casks (we do not use new wood to preserve the specific fruitiness).
TASTING NOTES：
Delicate nose of rose petals and gingery spices. Firm and penetrating in the mouth, with ripe fruit lifted by notes of candied orange peels. Fresh finish and very good persistence.
SERVING：
Ideally suited to go with spicy cooking such as Indian dishes, Thai food. Smoked salmon also makes a good match.
