ORIGIN:
Appellation: Appellation: Saint-Emilion AOC
Soil: clayey soils, sand and gravel.
Grape Varieties: 85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc.
WINE-MAKING:
The wines benefit from an original automated receiving system and are vinified traditionally in separated stainless steel vats. Fermentation is temperature controlled and maceration quite long. Aged by traditional methods, spend at least 6 month in oak barrels and are racked regularly before being bottled in rigorously aseptic conditions
TASTING NOTES:
The wines are remarkable for their great finesse and good tannins which enable long ageing. The nose is enchanted by complex and intense perfumes of ripe red fruit together with a slight tannin touch and elegant vanilla notes. A softly and fresh aroma in the mouth by a mix of fresh fruit and a whiff of pleasant smoky notes.
SERVING:
To be served at 13 ℃ to 18℃.with game deer, red meat, cheese.
